Religious tour in Albania
Day 1: Budapest – Montenegro
Depart Budapest early in the morning and travel towards Montenegro . Late in the evening arrive in the area of Kolasin for dinner and overnight .
Day 2: Montenegro – Albania ( Tirana )
Reach Albania in Hani Hotit border with Montenegro. After finishing with all procedures, the trip continues toward Lac, a small city in north Albania. There is a church of the 12 century, nearby the city, that is called Saint Ndoi Church. This place is full of legends of the abuse ended monks who have struggled against enemies of Christianity, and the Ottoman Empire. 1 Million pilgrims walk there every year with the great hope for improvements of health and mental peace. All pilgrims are among the Different religions and believe that the Holy One, Shen Ndoi will help them with all their life problems.
Lunch at Lac.
The journey continues to Tirana, the capital of Albania. There is the center of the Archdiocese of the Albanian Orthodox Church.
In Tirana there are two churches to be visited, the old cathedral "resurrection of Jesus" and the Orthodox House of Hope. If there is some time left could be visited the Historic National Museum.

Day 3: Tirana – Durres – Berat – Vlora
After Breakfast in Hotel departure toward Shen Vlash in Durres. In 1996 was built there a multifunctional complex, the "Resurrection of Jesus" Academy. Part of the Academy is the Theology school, the church where are organized every day the religious celebrate mass, 2 Houses and a huge Librarian with about 15 000 books.
After visiting Shen Vlash the trip continues to the port city of Durres. Interesting will be the archeological museum and the visit at the amphitheater. Lunch in Durres.
Leave Durres to follow the journey toward Berat, the city of the thousand windows. In Berat has its seat the Orthodox Church of the Mitropoli and the Cafeteria of the poor people.
In the mean time can be visited also the castle of Berat. Within the are of the castle, it is the Onufri Church (1797), with the old paintings Onufris, the best painter of the sixteenth century. As leaving Berat continue to Vlora for dinner and overnight .
Day 4: Vlora – Saranda – Gjirokastra
After breakfast travel towards the coty of Saranda passing along the coastline of Albanian Riviera. One of the most interesting visits of this trip will be in the BUTRINTI UNESCO Site. Visit to the Old Amphitheatre, the Temple of Aesculapius, the Baptistery with colorful mosaics and the ancient city walls. An old fortress housing a small museum watches over the entire site, which is one of the last unspoiled natural and ancient historical areas in Mediterranean. Proceed to Gjirokastra for dinner and overnight .
Day 5: Gjirokastra – Tirana
In the morning visit Gjirokastra “Museum City”. The characteristic houses resemble the towers and are build one above the other. They have only one common element, the stone. All the homes have the form of medieval towers. Visit to the castle, which stands out above the city as a balcony, providing the possibility for visitors to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The castle houses the National Museum of Weapons, which preserves all the kinds of weapons used and produced by the Albanians from antiquity. As we leave Gjrokastra proceed to Durres coastal city for dinner and overnight .

Day 6 : Tirana – Ohrid – Skopje
Depart in the morning towards the beautioful City of Ohrid, Macedonia . Visit the different Orthodox Churches as St. Sophia , St.John Caneo , St. Clement . After Ohid proceed to Macedonia fir dinner and overnight
Day 7: Skopje – Budapest
After breakfast travel to Budapest . The trip is approximately 800 km , around 9 – 11 hours of Drive.
Note: Another option for travelling back to Hungary can be through Montenegro again .
Day 6 : Tirana – Montenegro
Depart in the morning towards capital of Montenegro Podgorica. Visit the center of the city . Continue to Kolasin for dinner and overnight .
Day 7 : Kolasin – Budapest
After breakfast travel to Budapest . The trip is approximately 700 km , around 9 – 11 hours of Drive.
